Balfour Beatty Communities Recognized for Resident Satisfaction Across Military, Multifamily, and Student Housing Communities

March 19, 2025 --- Malvern, PA --- Balfour Beatty Communities, a leading residential real estate investment and management firm, has earned both the 2024 National Company Award and numerous Property Awards from SatisFacts recognizing high resident satisfaction across the company’s Military Housing, Student Housing and Multifamily portfolios. SatisFacts is the residential real estate industry’s foremost provider of resident feedback surveys and performance benchmarking.

The SatisFacts surveys assess resident experiences throughout their entire stay, from move-in to move-out, and include detailed feedback on interactions with both office and maintenance staff on a five-point scale. The SatisFacts Index enables Balfour Beatty Communities to benchmark its performance against other residential management companies, utilizing this valuable feedback to continuously improve resident services and staff performance.

This year, over 26,000 survey responses were received from Balfour Beatty Communities' military housing residents, who rated the company in the top percentile for both move-in and work order satisfaction. These impressive results earned a National Company Award for the Military Housing portfolio and individual Property Awards for 54 Military Housing communities. Balfour Beatty Communities’ Military Housing portfolio currently boasts an outstanding average resident satisfaction score of 4.67 (out of 5).

Balfour Beatty Communities also earned the National Company Award for its Multifamily and Student Housing portfolios, and individual Property Awards for all communities across these portfolios, with an average resident satisfaction score of 4.53 (out of 5).
