I really enjoy the challenges of the job - it keeps me thinking on my feet all the time. I get great satisfaction in knowing we get to work as a team to help service members and their families so that they have a great place to live and a place to call home, even if only temporarily. What I enjoy most about working with Balfour Beatty is my coworkers and building something unique and different than any other place.

I have worked with BBC for almost 7 years and have benefited from many growth opportunities. I started as the Receptionist, then as a Procurement Administrator and am now an Assistant Community Manager. Being able to work with and help our military families as they transition from base to base, or even from out of country has been a rewarding experience. The BBC leadership has shown time and time again that they care and truly put people first. They are consistent in their support, training and communication and are genuinely excited to help others succeed. The time I have spent with BBC and the team here has been unforgettable.

I have worked for BBC for over 3.5 years and I love the challenges the job brings as well as the people I get to work alongside. Most of all I like working at BBC because of the core values that you see in action through the daily efforts of our teams. The culture is also one of great diversity and is what makes working for BBC so unique.

I have been with BBC for one year and the experience with this company has been amazing, The leadership is extremely supportive and truly cares about their employees. During my time here I have received the training and the resources needed to grow my career, and in a short time was promoted into a leadership role. BBC encourages you to grow as a team and as an individual. There may be challenging situations and days but the leadership and team is always there to assist which is something I was not used to in other companies. The comradery is unrivaled. Because of my experiences with this company I can see longevity and plan on continuing my career with this company for the long run!

I started my adventure with BBC in 2017 and throughout my journey, I have had amazing support, mentorship, and encouragement from my management team, which is something I had never really experienced in the professional world. They have supported my learning development, creativity, and growth within the company.  As the child of an Air Force member growing up, I remember how scary the “unknown” was, when it came time to move to a new location.  I love the fact that as an adult now- I now get the opportunity to help inbound families turn the unknown into “home” and provide residents with fun and engaging ways to connect with the team, and more importantly, with other families.  For me, the best thing about working for Balfour Beatty Communities is the “People First” mentality, I’m not just an employee, but a person.  For this and many other reasons, I am so grateful for the opportunities that have been provided for me!
